OOTD: Easter Weekend

Happy Easter weekend everyone! As it was *slightly* warm out today, I figured I'd do an outfit post outside today. It still hasn't completely warmed up where I live yet, hence the dead grass and the snow patches, but I braved the drab weather to get this post up!!

Doing something fashion related on this blog sort of put me out of my comfort zone, but I really liked this outfit and wanted to share it with you! It was also embarrassing having people, walk/drive by during this, haha! Oh well!!

Anyway, on to the outfit!!!

Tada!!

Went with a purple theme! My black jacket is from Suzy Shier.

Now that I've ditched the jacket, here's a better look at my outfit!

My crossbody bag is from Aldo, that I received a few Christmases back. I love how subtle the studs are!!

These black booties belong to my mom!! They're from Sears.

These fun shorts are actually a romper! I bought them from Garage two summers ago.

Close up of my shades! I recently bought them from Target! I think they're so fun!

And here is the lip colour I was sporting throughout the photos. Revlon Colorburst Matte Lip Balm in the shade "Unapologetic". First time wearing it and I LOVE!

What I'm Wearing:

Jacket- Suzy Shier
Sweater- Zara
Shorts/Romper- Garage
Pantyhose- H&M (?)
Boots- Sears
Sunglasses- Target
Purse- Aldo
Lips- Revlon Matte Balm "Unapologetic"
Nails- Essie "Borrowed and Blue"

Hope you all have a great Easter weekend!! I'll leave you with a final (and fun!!) photo.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner: Review + Swatches

I have been on the hunt for a new liquid eye liner lately, and after hearing some great reviews about this Stila liner, I figured I'd snatch one up and try it out for myself.

It has a very thin and pointy felt tip brush, perfect for thin and precise lines, but can also be built up for a thicker, and more dramatic look.

I really had no trouble using this product. My lines turned out smooth and clean each time! Also, no smudging!! This really is a waterproof liner, and doesn't budge throughout the day, until you get at it with a good make up remover!

Overall, I would really recommend this eye liner!! Easy and precise application, great pigmentation, and super waterproof! What else do you need?! I purchased mine in the jet black colour, but there is a fairly wide range of colour selection! This Stila eye liner retails for $26CAD, and I would definitely recommend picking it up for yourselves!!

Benefit Sugarbomb Boxed Powder: My Thoughts + Swatches!

My very first Benefit Boxed Powder! And blog post.

Sugarbomb is comprised of four different shades, that can be worn separately or mixed together.

Those four shades include a medium pink, a light pink, a plummy lilac and a peachy orange, all with a shimmery finish. Mixed together, it makes a super pretty warm, peachy pink.

(From Left to Right) All four shades mixed together, peachy orange, plummy lilac, light pink and medium pink

This blush is great for everyday wear, and I feel as though it works well with fair complexions, such as myself. The formulation is very soft, but I find it is slightly more powdery then I would like it. It isn't a super significant flaw, and not enough to change my opinion of it, but enough so that it is noticeable.

Overall, Sugarbomb is a big thumbs up from me, and I look forward to trying out more Benefit Boxed Powders. This blush retails for $36CAD, which is a bit pricey, but if you are willing to overlook that, I definitely recommend Sugarbomb!
